Love this graphic! It's inspired me to start MSAFE: Mormon-Satanists Against Fascism and Exploitation.

I actually financially supported the Pirate Party! :)

Good! I don't know how anyone thinks that AI can 100 percent replace all workers. Yes, it can reduce need for some workers, and some tasks. But these stupid CEO's that think you can just fire everyone and AI will do it, haven't actually used AI. lol

Which is why we need unions! Union! Union!

And it also enables you to ban serial downvoters in communities you mod, without having to wait for them to post racist stuff. Lots of people would just downvote my posts, regardless of content. Now I can ban them if they are just downvote trolling (which they were doing). I love Tesseract!

You opened a post in a community and downvoted every comment.

Yep, and I’ve been seeing more of this on Lemmy lately.

I just don’t understand what drives someone to go out of their way to systematically downvote every comment a person makes—or every post in a whole community.

They’ll click on someone’s profile, scroll through the comments, and downvote everything without even reading. Or they’ll dive into a community and just mass downvote all the content.

Glad we can ban for that now. People like that spread nothing but negativity—figuratively and literally.

You did the correct thing.

Article from 2012, but still fun. And I loved this part: This is the fundamental difference between capitalists and pirates. Capitalists accumulate. Pirates archive. A capitalist wants profit from the sale of every commodity and will enforce scarcity to get it. Pirates work to create vast common spaces, amassing huge troves of content, much of it too obscure to be of much use to very many people. Piracy destroys exchange value, and pays little heed to use value.

Reddit gets worse every day.

Yes, but what I'm saying is that on Lemmy, unlike Reddit, you can start you own community on whatever instance you want. It's easier.

YDI. Like others have said, we're against copyright here.
