Motie van wantrouwen lijkt van tafel gezien aankondiging Rutte dat hij stopt met de politiek als nieuw kabinet wordt geïnstalleerd.

Rutte kondigt vertrek aan. Tenminste bij aankomend kabinet.

You're welcome.

Dutch parliament planned to go on leave the coming weeks as off today, but they returned to debate today about the collapse of the government.

The opposition has asked for Rutte to resign immediately considering his role in the collapse of the government, which was the direct result of Rutte asking a christian coalition party to refuse children of asylum seekers to be joined with their parent. It was clear upfront the christian coalition party would never accept that, after which the government collapsed.

If Rutte doesn't resign, a motion of distrust will probably be filed during the debate. If it's backed by a majority, it's exit Rutte. The question thus becomes if the christian coalition party that was confronted by Rutte will support the motion of distrust.

If there aren't many settings, then of course it's pointless.

But the argument that native apps behave the same is not logical, because it's equally annoying IMO. Many native apps therefore store their settings, but a webapp might not be allowed to do so considering OS restrictions like sandboxing.

That's so good to hear! Thanks.

Wefwef will be called Voyager as of the next version (so following the current 0.17).

This is getting better by the day. It's really amazing at what speed this app is being developed.

Hoping for editing and deleting OPs as an update in the near future. But this update is obviously great as well.

What platform? Windows? Unix? Linux?

[–] UnanimousStargazer@feddit.nl 6 points 2 years ago

It's not very different than Reddit. Either browse communities or browse all posts and try to discover communities you like.

Might I suggest you download and install wefwef (which was renamed to Voyager recently)?

Wefwef/Voyager is a progressive webapp or WPA. You don't install it from an app store, but install from within any browser. It's much easier to navigate Lemmy with wefwef/Voyager, but there are more clients that you could try as well.

Yes, this happens sometimes, but I'm not sure it's wefwef related.

If you login to the Lemmy server your account is registered to, you probably won't be able to comment either. Only after you specifically choose the correct language next to the comment box, the comment is accepted.
