It bothers me how It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia pretends like Artemis is like, way overweight when she really isn't?
They do this obnoxious "overweight women expressing sexuality is a punchline" thing with her which is a trope I can't wait for to finally die, but Artemis isn't even fat. Especially not fat enough for "haha overweight woman has a food fetish" jokes.
Seriously, watching how It's Always Sunny treats Artemis is giving me some perspective of why so many women have body image issues. She has a very normal, average, healthy body type and they treat her like she's boogie2988.
I've been to 2 psychiatrists for ADHD meds and the first one had me fill out a questionnaire and hooked me up to some brain wave measuring device or whatever. Either way, my results must've been pretty messed up because after looking at them she said something to the effect of "Alright, it's probably not gonna be a small dosage."
Why am I flexing with this? Because my ADHD would beat yours in a fight.
It always kinda rubbed me the wrong way that It's Always Sunny retconned Mac to be gay after he had an on-and-off relationship with that one trans woman in the earlier seasons. Especially since all the other characters start acting like it's totally obvious that he's gay after season 6 or something when it really isn't.
