ionos has a low tier starting at 2€/month for 10GB storage, 500 MB ram, 100 Mbit unlimited traffic.

I don't know if they had any black Friday sales, that is just their base offering. I am very happy with the server I have.

Is your image supposed to use this much dithering? I supposed it can be considered an art style not just a crutch to low color resolution.

Brexit, COVID, Russian oil

Are you seriously thinking that two years of politics can fully negate such events? It doesn't matter what your ideal is in the short term, the national economy moves slowly and in tune to the global economic situation.

For what it's worth I have only ever heard the term used to describe the Linux thing. So for me that is the only meaning.

You can't separate this from the dozens of major confounding variables.

Fair enough. I didn't consider "just crash lol" as handling the error, but your distinction is a good one.

Ein wichtiger Einwand!

Leider ja, das ist richtig justiert.

You're not wrong, but there are some situations in rust that are just so full of errors. Not because the situation will regularly fail in a variety of ways, but because rust can't prove that there never will be errors. And depending on how important the application is (vs the required boilerplate) just ignoring errors can be a reasonable choice

File system handling has been named. Creating a tokio runtime is also just .unwrap() whenever I have seen it. Creating a python module with pyo3 contains a big chunk of m.add_function(...?)?; which may just as well be unwrap()s.

Good point! Within a few weeks billions of animals would die. Chicken, pigs, cows, cats and dogs.

We definitely need to clarify what "good for the planet" means if we want to decide on the best answer.

Huh, in de Tat.
