I would love to see a lawsuit over that honestly. I dont think we'll see it anytime soon unless something extravagant happens, but I'd love to see it.

From my POV, the "if we didnt spend so much on military we could have healthcare" argument boils down to someone holding 2 opinions and presenting it as 1.

Opinion 1: War is bad, we should spend less money on the military and stop creating new wars

Opinion 2: Healthcare should be government subsidized (Universal Healthcare). If we are already anti-war, let's put the savings from not doing war into healthcare.

I understand your point completely though. Most Americans are paying more than their fair share, while the oligarchy clan pays less than one of us at the bottom. We (the 99%) should be able to get healthcare by taxing appropriately and getting rid of the corruption at the top. It shouldnt be tied to military spending.

I think what you're saying is correct. It "widens the lens" of the issues out to the system being corrupt which is completely true. I dont think most people have faith we can fix the system (at least within the next 2-6 years), so we are coping with smaller thoughts of just having the option to be anti war and pro UHC.

I feel like thats extremely unlikely to happen, at least banning bootloader unlocking. I'm sure a law could come up eventually, but in order to legally block bootloader unlocking they'd end up banning most consumer and enterprise PCs and SBCs. (Not to mention, how would you enforce this when every state around you would not have this restriction; OEMs will not create a California specific SKU.)

My assumption is the model Graphene is supported on will be sold in California, but with Moto Android by default. The user can then install Graphene on their own.

American Dad is sort of like if the first 3 seasons of Family Guy kept going, but replace the cutaway gag comedy with social commentary. I enjoy all of Seth's stuff (Including the Orville, still waiting on Season 4 to start filming), although I will admit some of it is not for everyone. I still watch the new Family Guy seasons, but its like eating fast food. You know it used to be made better, and you know there are better options, bit its comfortable so you still do it.

Car inspection is done state by state and AFAIK not national. It's implemented under the idea it could help the environment. In reality, as usual, it makes cars less accessible to poor people, and let's people who "roll coal" in their new 0% down 50% APR 2027 Fordโ„ข๏ธ F350ยฎ๏ธ Pickup Truck that they only use to drive to their job as an accountant because they know they guy doing the inspection, do whatever the hell they want.
