great picks! i hope you don't mind the recs - you might then like the EP named after the same titled In a Beautiful Place Out In the Country. I suppose that if you want a more nostalgic and chill listen, start off with Music has the Right to Children. for weirder (with satanic undertones), try Geogaddi. if you want a happier listen, go for Campfire Headphase (check out Dayvan Cowboy, amazing track but unlike them). their last one, Tomorrow's Harvest is a foreboding warning of what's happening to our climate and environment

my fave electronic duo (my username's a dead ringer)! i rediscovered them at the start of the year and had Geogaddi on repeat for a while. if you're done with their studio albums, check out their mixtape leaks (the legit ones, at leats) - I think that the boc wiki has info on which ones are real and which ones are not

god damn. I sincerely hope things get better for you

awesome stuff - though not always good, everything after Turn on The Bright Lights (and maybe Antics) is underrated

thank you so much for taking the time to write this out! I'm glad that you mentioned the 3DS Fire Emblem, I think I played it a lot of time ago but enjoyed it. I'll try to grab 7 and Earthbound in the coming days if I got time and hit you up if I should have any trouble

Cool picks! I've always been meaning to get into JRPG's (dabbled a bit in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the older Final Fantasy games and countless more) but I can never sit myself down for long enough to really get into them, I suppose I should just give it some time. How accessible are Earthbound and the first game you mentioned (Fire Emblem, right?) to a newcomer?

yoooo, what do you usually play? not playing much either right now, I can't muster the will after work to play something so I try to really get into it during weekends. I'm currently playing through Yakuza 0 properly for the first time and it's been comfy as hell

hahah this legit made my day better, thanks trans-heart

I fucking hate living in Estonia (for obvious reasons). Stumbled upon r/eesti the other day and was reminded of why I don't browse that cesspit.

Go for it! I've been messing around with Arch for a few days now (minimal previous experience) and I'm really satisfied with it.

Don't get discouraged! The internet's got a lot of great resources and guides out there. Arch's wiki is especially detailed but Mint's a cool first distro for example.

No way! I'm dealing with the same laptop right now and about 2 days ago Windows decided to start updating itself, freezing itself in the process and causing a bootloop. Long story short, hilarity ensued when I realized you can't even use System Restore or CMD without entering your MS account password. Then I found out it's a common error for the servers not being able to authenticate your password, locking you out of repairs. Eventually I got there using a boot disk but I get absolutely esoteric errors.

I don't use Windows no more LOL
