The best example of American propaganda was a video I saw of a marine who had fought on Iwo Jima who said “how come there’s so much emphasis on mount suribachi and the flag raising? While they’re putting that flag up I’m losing men. It’s a good symbol or whatever you want to call it, but what about the rest of us guys?”
That’s some absolute helldivers or starship trooper shit to put up a flag, not when the fighting is done, but in the middle of a combat zone while other guys are bleeding out and screaming around you all because it looks good in silent black and white.
