This is the take I’ve been defending the entire time for FO. I have always believed that if there is no “correct” (socialist, Communist, anarchist) ending for the main story of a fallout game then it should focus on the failures of a world without leftism and be open about why that is. That is the entire point of war never changing.

The good karma main quest ending for fo3 is essentially a FOA ending.
Ercot has been saying this for almost a decade at this point though. I’m not arguing it isn’t hotter than it used to be, I’m saying it’s more likely that they’re lying about the reasoning for it. Like their lack of modernization of the infrastructure in general.

Having power go out during peak summer never used to happen. Texas sucks ass, but genuinely we produce enough energy that we often sell it to the other energy grids from what I understand. We shouldn’t really have any brown/blackouts at all other than the freezes.
This is probably it to be honest. Its pretty obvious to anyone with eyes that unless nato intervenes Russia is going to win and to the average Ukrainian if the war isn’t going to end then the only option is to protest for nato intervention.
I don’t like that framing because it basically means the war was inevitable. If that’s the case Russia would be completely justified in leveling Ukraine to the ground and winning in a week like everyone predicted.
Because they keep selling it as survival food as if any of the hogs who buy it would actually make it through the apocalypse.
Because now one of the big anti western nations is leaderless and vulnerable. Not very good when world war 3 could erupt at any moment.
