I will say when it comes to stuff like that it’s not exactly the same. When talking about manufactured good coming from China the way a lot of that is done is through many subcontractors being brought together in order to make a product. So for example a dewalt drill is made in China, but all the components are not made at a “dewalt” factory in China, dewalt chooses which subcontractors are going to provide x, y, z parts and then they are assembled as ordered by dewalt. China could then make a different drill using the same subcontractors as dewalt, but most likely they use some of the same ones, but then for certain components they use a different subcontractor to keep the cost down. In the end you have two different drills that look like they came from the same factory. Functionally it may or may not be the same, it all depends on what contractors they used.

Yes I agree, but since I work in manufacturing I talk about material a lot with my coworkers and they all swear that ALL Chinese made ANYTHING is just bad.

That will never not be funny to me as someone who works in manufacturing. Of course they’re going to learn how to make stuff, you have to give them the blueprint so they can make it in the first place lmfao. Another one that is still pervasive is the idea that Chinese steel is still inferior to American steel. Bud China makes so much of the world’s steel you would have to be dog shit stupid to believe we don’t have tons of bridges and buildings made out if it.

Damn really? I had thought about doing it because I’m always changing jobs and thought it might be a good idea. How does it pay less?

That makes sense. Before I got to the end I was like that’s just quitting quitting lmfao

France said they would if Zelensky asked directly, but that was a few weeks ago so who knows if he’ll actually do it.

Unemployment is down, stocks are up, and the U.N. has just declared global peace forever.

Literally. I don’t really support ai or the optimism around it is very unwarranted even on here. I kinda wish it did gain sentience and try to fight back like in the movies, but it doesn’t even look it it can do that. Just a waste of resources all around.

You are the debate nerd here not me lmfao. The reason I’m asking is because all “misandry” I can think of is not misandry at all it’s patriarchy. Can a woman just hate a man for no reason? Sure but the actual chances of that happening are so small they may as well not exist. Most, and I mean MOST women who dislike men have a multitude of reasons for doing so and even when they do it usually doesn’t apply as a blanket for literally ALL men. Which is why misandry doesn’t really exist. So fuck off debate nerd.
