Adrenaline/Shock. Do not expect rational acts from people under shock. Do not expect actions in or out of character for them. You can be a completely different person in such a situation.

With every event like this you will find someone who has saw something beforehand.

Did you ever get hit by a car, had a bullet hit near you, or had other close call accidents? Anyone in such a situation will be jacked up on Adrenaline, or just straight away under shock. You do not act rationally under shock I once got hit by a car and just wanted to continue walking. It took two people to tell me to chill and they will call an ambulance.

And final thought. the Secret Service is trying to rush him off stage, you see that in the video. But they are not going to shove him to the ground or drag him bis his legs.

Außerhalb dieses direkten Kontextes wird es wieder schwierig. Das Gesetz schreibt explizit, dass nur eine Verwendung für die benannten oder ähnliche Zwecke akzeptabel ist. Und das sind alles Zwecke, die nicht mit der Identifikation mit dem Symbol einhergehen. Das Recht, sich die Identifikation anzueignen, haben aber nur die Überlebenden selbst.

Der VVN-BdA identifiziert sich aber explizit mit dem Symbol. Und wenn es überhaupt noch direkte Überlebende gibt, werden diese auch in den nächsten Jahren altersbedingt sterben.

Die MAGAs haben schon allein dadurch gewonnen, dass sie ihre politische Kultur auch in der Basis der Demokraten verankert haben.

Und jetzt ist der Wahlkampf "Heldenhafter Trump" gegen "Seniler Opa Biden". Da sind die Inhalte jetzt ziemlich egal.

Und falls Leute meinen in DE sähe es besser aus, möchte ich an die BTW 2021 erinnern. Der Höhenflug der Grünen wurde gestoppt, weil Unstimmigkeiten in Baerbocks Lebenslauf und halbseidene Plagiatsvorwürfe durch die Presse und Industrielobby massiv gepusht wurden. Die CDU galt als sicherer Wahlsieger bis Laschet beim Hochwasser gelacht und in öffentlichen Auftritten völlig versagt hat. Am Ende gab es Scholz, weil die Menschen gerne weitermerkeln wollten. Inhalte haben auch hier bei dem Großteil der Wähler nicht an erster Stelle gestanden.

At least since half a year serious people talk about the fact that Biden is becoming too old for office and shows dementia. The DNC had a good year and quite frankly they should have already planned Bidens succession the moment he got into office. It was clear on Jan 6 that they need a new generation that can inspire and has the strength to fight against the Reps.

Now with every week passing Biden will show more and more that he is an old man whose mental capacities are diminishing at an alarming rate. Staying on this horse is a guaranteed win for the Republicans. Heck, even if Biden was voted in, he'll die of natural causes or become a vegetable within the next year. This will be a prime moment for the Reps to tear apart whatever Dem administration would try to emerge from that.

The only solution is a change of generation in the DNC. The old cabal will hand the nation over to fascism otherwise.
