I wonder what would happen if you opened fire against these attempts? If you are not identifying yourself as law enforcement, one would fear for ones life and could open fire and protect oneself?

My problem (and many others I guess) is that i won't remember Pat or Kelly the next time. And the next time. And the next time etc etc. Especially if I only see her ever so often. No chance to remember special pronouns beyond what gender they present. He/she/him/her is relatively easy (but not always...) them/they or anything else they prefer seems overly complicated in a social setting.

But if I remember the name and intentionally use others to taunt you, then yes, I would be a cunt. And I try not to be one...

If they act like cunts, we should call them cunts. But I totally understand that's not possible in all situations, like when you have a person in power cunting all over you.

I understand the desire to have people use your pronouns, and as long as one can see what gender you are "presenting", one should use those pronouns.

If someone prefers other pronouns, then I'm sorry... Many people (me included) have a hard time remembering names... I wouldn't have a chance remembering a large set of different pronouns if I can't even remember the names of that person. A pronoun is a non specific way of addressing someone and a break life saver like "you"...

To to switch to an all inclusive them/they for everybody seems overreaching.

If it's not obvious what pronouns someone prefers, then they shouldn't be annoyed if someone makes repeatedly mistakes.

And this makes it hard to distinguish a mistake from an insult...

Hmmmm Not exactly what you are asking about, but i love the energy of "Kickstart my heart" by Motley Crue and "Get it on" by Turboneger.

Both starts hard sang continues in the same fashion. I want more og that energy and rhythm.

"Stand up and shout" by Dio is close, but it feels tiny bit harder/faster.

Anybody got other songs in the same vibe/ energy. Not a slow build up. Just 1-2-3-4 rock!

I'm not saying a parent knows your inner feelings, but I am saying that after watching repeat behaviour patterns you notice stuff. And with younger kids they don't really connect these dots. So yeah, to some extent we do know our kids better than they do

If you think we actually invest in infrastructure, you are sorely mistaken.... I mean yes, we have a decent charging infrastructure. Driven by Tesla purchase and gas stations following through in order to retain EV customers. So some infrastructure is needed to support that.

But we don't even have good enough infrastructure to distribute an abundance of hydro electricity from North to the South, while at the same time we export electricity down to central Europe from the South, so prices fluctuates a crap ton.

Don't get me started on train lines being neglected for the past 50 years. And as most countries we are realising that all our sewage and water lines need a massive renewal....

Maybe we should use more of the oil fund for these tasks, but I believe there would be large inflations if we tossed the oil fund around to fix everything....

I used to "love" running in to McD when I was in a hurry and ask "what burgers do you have that are ready?" and just take whatever was available. More often than not, it was a cheese/double cheese.

Now I have to wait 5-10 minutes before its ready, and its more expensive.

The trade off of cheap and fast vs quality have disappeared.
