I just fell off the couch.

Maybe just because we don't understand it, but the ancient Sumerian bar joke:
A dog entered into a tavern and said, 'I cannot see anything. I shall open this one.'
This would indeed result in no more war, at all. I fail to see the problem. (Besides that it wouldn't work, of course -- but it's a nice fantasy.)
Down 10% over 6 months isn't nothing, though -- if that rate continues for ten years prices will almost drop to one-tenth. It took us a long time to get into this situation, it might take a while for us to get out. This isn't a complete solution, but it's a good start.
The publisher also did Rise of Kong, and they're literally called GameMill. And it looks like they've made a whole lot of terrible games, most based on well-known franchises. Seems their MO is to make games as cheaply as possible, cash in on the franchise fans buying before reading reviews, and turn a profit even on lousy, lousy titles.
It seems that hyphnenation is becoming a lost art.
Looks like it's people who report ownership on their taxes, i.e. legal owners. So either one or both parents would be a "homeowner", depending on whether it's singly or jointly owned, but other adult tenants wouldn't be (unless they were partial owners).
Does it actually annoy people? Wow, that makes it even funnier.
You can solve more than one problem at once.
Would you like pie, vel ice cream?
Infantry must be equipped with anti-tank guided missiles vel suicide drones if they are to stand a chance against enemy armoured vehicles.
To take Introduction to Set Theory, you must have taken Calculus 1 vel Linear Algebra 1.
That car has seen better days. Based on the sounds it's making, the entire engine needs cleaning -- vel maybe the carburettor is shot.
I like it! We could use it vel "xor" to specify exclusive or (although I'm not sure if "xor" should be pronounced zor, cksor, or ex-or).
Habits can be adaptive, but addictions are more about external drugs hacking the brain. And highly refined and addictive drugs didn't really exist in the ancestral environment. (Alcohol was first refined ~9000 years ago, which isn't enough time to evolve an anti-addiction mechanism.)
Now we've gone from seconds to fix to hours to fix. If you wanted better I'd say to target pumping stations. If you could cause some serious damage to the pumps that push the oil, you could take the entire line out of commission for a good long while.
Of course, the pumping stations are guarded, and it isn't a good look for ecoterrorists to kill people. But maybe you could pull a Stuxnet.
