I'm so sick of giving people (conservatives) the benefit of the doubt when they talk about something I haven't heard of and realize that yes, in fact, this current issue they're crying about is also made up or wildly misinterpreted just like every other issue they've ever pretended to care about.

The only way cops will respect people's rights is if they're afraid of what might happen if they violate them. That goes for all people. Power corrupts. Without checks to keep them in line, every cop is corrupt.

That's my hope but if they rig the election or refuse to vacate their seats after losing, it'll require the police/military (where many officials have already been replaced by magat loyalists) to step in.
