Short times are always given in scales of 10 for seconds (ms, μs, ns). And long ones can be too.

TIL JSFuck, an esoteric subset of JS that only uses operators, could be used to hack eBay customers by injecting it into item listings. As JSFuck obfuscated the actual code, attackers were able to get in c/til@lemmy.world

We take reported security issues very seriously, and work quickly to evaluate them within the context of our entire security infrastructure.

Typical corporate PR just lying outright.The issue was known for 8 years

I'm amazed at FreeCAD's abilities. It needs a better name. Thinking of it as simply "cad software" like calling a 2-GHz computer in your pocket a "phone". in c/opensource@lemmy.ml

Yes. I just did a few days ago actually. Made some 4 mm diameter washers, they look perfectly round.

If you just attach every object to the global coordinate system instead of each other that bug can't happen. Could be less convenient for larger projects though

I've used it for making models for 3D printing for about 5 years, never seen that issue
