If companies like Disney wanted to train AI models on their own movies and use that in their movies, I have no problem with that. The problem isn't AI, it's that the tools created by AI companies are designed from the ground up to be unetical. You can have AI that is only trained on your own work or people that have consented to it, but none of these companies want to do that and that is a choice they are making. They don't care about consent, they just want to have what they feel like they have a right to.

Not gonna lie, if I need to use AI on my face or provide a government ID in order to use any of these platforms I'm just gonna opt out of 90% of the modern internet. Sites like YouTube aren't worth the risk of having my likeness and identity stolen when the 100% inevitable data breaches start to happen.

It's because they get a lot of their money from AIPAC. They don't wanna piss off their boss.

I feel like this has less to do with changing history and more to do with Trump's fragile ego. I'm not saying that they aren't trying to rewrite history and that is absolutely disgusting, just that this one doesn't really make any sense when you really take a step back and think about it. If anything an actual strong person would wear it as a badge of honor to prove how right he is that the "deep state" is still trying to get him, which Trump has done in the past. I say this is an indicator that he's in panic mode trying to fix his image right now which is kinda pathetic.

First it's the homeless and the "mentally ill," then being LGBTQ+ will be considered a mental illness, then your beliefs and opinions will be considered a mental illness. They already declared Trump Derangement Syndrome as a mental illness. It doesn't matter if you are a straight white male, you should be scared and fighting back.

The Nazis didn't start with death camps, that was just their final solution after other methods of removing people they didn't like weren't efficient enough. And not all concentration camps were death camps. Some of them were just there to hold "undesirables."

This whole age verification thing is going to destroy the modern internet as we know it today. Mark my words, but I have a feeling that if government issued IDs become a necessary component to access these platforms worldwide I cannot see these platforms surviving long term. People already don't trust these platforms.

Not gonna lie, I used to do this all the time. I got into the habit before it would auto complete to "Google.com" so I would just type "Google" and hit enter because it was easier and I'm lazy. Nowadays you can just type what you're searching into the address bar so it doesn't really matter anymore.

I remember last year when people were saying that Gaza will be ignored until it's too big to ignore. I remember because I was one of those people. They're doing this because they knew it was wrong to begin with but are now trying to save face and say "See? We were the good guys the whole time!" Do not let them forget that they let this happen when they could have stopped it at any time.

By the way, I'm not throwing shade towards Canada specifically. This was the stance of pretty much every western country and they are all guilty.

I feel like headlines from both sides of the political spectrum are specifically designed to make us hate each other. Based on this headline, and the fact that the majority of people will not read the article, people will assume that their republican neighbors don't care anymore. In reality this is one of the biggest bipartisan agreements among everyday people that I have ever seen in my life.

If you hang out online in liberal communities they will say republicans support pedos like Trump. If you hang out online in conservative communities they will say democrats support pedos like Bill Clinton. But what both sides are actually saying is they don't give a fuck who is on the list and everyone that was involved should be punished (Yes, even Trump supporters).

This is what class warfare looks like. When you are constantly being told that the "others" hate everything you stand for even when everyone actually agrees on something. If the title of an article pisses you off immediately it was probably specifically chosen to do so. And if that's the case, read the article.

As a Linux user we really are the worst, especially Arch. I only got into Linux because I'm trying to get off Windows in the long run. And while I'd say about half of the community is great, the other half are insufferable. They'll want you to do everything for them, tell you they could do it better, and talk down to you all at the same time.

I never thought running a campaign on issues that people care about would make them popular.

Like ffs how out of touch are these people?

It is illegal and literally goes against the Civil Rights Act. I'd say someone should sue but I have a feeling that it won't hold up in today's SCOTUS, which may actually be their plan.

Looks like she's got some homework to do.

Can you upload videos here? Last time I tried I couldn't figure it out. I wanna make a super fancy one of these in Blender or something. I'm trying to get back into using blender and I think this would be a neat way to get back into it. :)

Almost forgot because I had the day off. Everything is fucked, but at least it's Friday.

Sorry about being later than usual! Had no WiFi or phone service all day. It's been on my mind all day though, I promise. :)
