And your argument is a comically reductionist one that calls literally anyone you don’t agree with a fascist and calls for them to be silenced.

Read my argument.

Your argument is a pro-fascist accelerationist ad hominen.

for supporting a left-wing party

Which party is that? In the US, we have a neoliberal party we should vote for, the Democrats, and a fascist party that needs to lose, the Republicans. I'm arguing we should vote for the Democrats. This meme is arguing there is no hope and that we should all give up and die. That's accelerationist bullshit. We should all live no matter our flaws. edit: typo

Some people do though. I've seen and debunked the facebook posts.

I was talking in terms of the median voter.

Well I agree with you that is stupid. But that doesn’t mean the meme itself is wrong, a stopped clock and all that.

Lol. It's good to know people upvoted this meme because they misunderstood it.

I may not agree with OP’s strategy, but I understand it. Biden was a ghoul. Harris was a ghoul. It made me sick to vote for them. That doesn’t make me pro-fascist.

You don't have to like Democrats. I don't.

Well, when you feel the need to preface your argument with

jfc. This isn’t intended as a “fascists on both sides” argument, but

then

you really need to take a moment and look at yourself there.

The fascists want to kill me and people I care about.

Your argument is a pro-fascist accelerationist ad hominen. Accelerationism is self-defeating. We should ban accelerationist posts and comments.

It's not about what Republicans care about. It's about controlling the narrative. The popular vote is a tool that can be used to control the narrative. The popular vote is useful and so voting even if it only contributes to the popular vote is still useful. And of course if enough people don't vote then any state is in play.

The OP publicly claimed to not have voted for Harris. Reform in the meme is referring to the kind of strategies we are proposing. Look at the OP's post and comment history if you don't believe me.

I've been paying attention and OP worked tireless to sink Harris and Walz during the last election. It wasn't criticism, OP just wanted them to fail. The OP doesn't want the Democrats to improve. The OP wants us to hurry up and all die. That's the madness of accelerationism.

Americans who read the constitution.

That was done in the 50's by Republicans. Democrats lack the guts to fight back against it.

  • Back in the '2000s, I was in a very famous
  • AN ime (ah)
  • I'm Boruto's dad the ninja (Boruto's dad)
  • Boruto's dad the ninja, don't act like you don't know
  • And I'm trying to hold on to my past
  • It's been so long, I don't think I'm gonna last
  • I guess I'll just try and make you understand
  • That I'm more ninja than a man
  • Or I'm more man than a ninja
  • Boruto's dad

Those wins are we how we got gay marriage. After decades of activism queer people won rights. It took time and effort and consistently turning out for elections. And a ton of shifting the culture through the media people consumed. But the voting is a mechanical necessity to bring that result about. There's no way around it. We need to vote for the furthest left Democrats we can.

Add a /s please to jokes like that, my heart needs itblobcat, heart

The accelerationists unironically believe that!

Since its launch in August 2023, Disney’s Lorcana has grown to eight sets and more than 1,500 cards to its roster. The ninth set, slated to be released in September 2025, will bring several notable changes to competitive Lorcana play, change the name of the game when it comes to collecting, and much more. Titled Fabled, the next set is arguably one of the most exciting updates to Lorcana yet.

When Ravensburger announced the first cooperative Disney Lorcana set that had players fighting against Ursula, I was instantly intrigued. However, the lack of product at launch locally to me, and a price that I found a bit too high, stopped me from picking it up and giving it a go. While I still think the price for this product is expensive, the latest cooperative release, Palace Heist, is so much better than the first release. If Disney Lorcana is your passion and you enjoy a good, tough cooperative experience, this is an easy pick up in my opinion.

Last time the alt-text I wrote didn't seem to work. So I'm going to put it in the body as well.

[Alt-Text] A cyclops considers his predicament. "This dungeon is known for plucking out an eye as part of a hazing ritual. I'll conspire to replace the current boss! That'll fix it!"

Spongebob Squarepants style time skip. "One adventuring party later..."

A cyclops wearing an eyepatch considers his predicament. "So an organization's culture can persist across multiple leaders... Systemic change will fix it!"

The eighth set of Disney's tabletop card game (TCG), Disney Lorcana: Reign of Jafar is adding another 18 stunning Enchanted cards to the collection. These cards are secret alternate art versions of others in the expansion, with illustrations that cover the cards to create miniature works of art. The rarity of the Enchanted type makes it difficult to pull even one of them from random booster packs, but also means they are quite valuable and special when someone does.

If you are consuming this meme then you are living during history.

Last year’s Illumineer’s Quest, Deep Trouble, was one of Disney Lorcana’s best surprises. No other TCG is doing these kinds of narrative-driven, co-op spin-offs, and in just two iterations, they’ve become an important part of what makes Lorcana stand out in a sea of other card games. It’s one thing to offer players an alternative, cooperative way to enjoy the game, but it’s another to deliver that experience in such a thoughtfully-made and well-designed package. With Palace Heist, the Illumineer’s Quest series proves it has the production value and level of quality to stand on its own exceptional deck-building game.

Reign of Jafar is Disney Lorcana’s eighth set and follows Jafar as he seeks to reassemble the broken Hexwell Crown. Using his serpent staff to hypnotize the detective Basil, Jafar takes advantage of the glimmer’s sleuthing skills and successfully acquires the missing pieces. With the Hexwell Crown reassembled, Jafar uses his new power to take over Arcazia’s Island, leaving the heroes scrambling to answer the great new threat.

Below you’ll find each card previewed from Reign of Jafar and information on the set’s various products. Be sure to bookmark this article for quick reference!

We've reached the second iteration. There isn't a lot separating us from the third iteration. And the material conditions were bad enough, at the latest, sometime between the first and the second iterations.

People know socialism exists. People are experiencing sufficiently bad material conditions that they want change.

People have picked up neoliberal ideas from living in a neoliberal society. These ideas give people a framework to process their material conditions so that they do not rise up in sufficient numbers. People need to learn that these ideas are part of an ideology designed to enrich the owner class at the expense of the worker class. Things will continue to get worse unless people understand that everyone needs to own their work.

This education is work that still needs to be done after hypothetically defeating the current fascist dictatorships and is probably part of what will be needed to defeat them.

I keep having this conversation with people and seeing the accelerationist line of reasoning, so I wanted to address it with a visual.

While Archazia’s Island‘s release only felt like yesterday, Disney Lorcana is continuing the roll it’s on with the new set, Reign of Jafar, coming very soon. Checkpoint Gaming has been given the opportunity to reveal a new card from the upcoming set exclusively: Only So Much Room.

I'm not sure how pervasive this is, but Maeve@kbin.earth's comments don't seem to have federated. I can only see 24 of them from 9 months ago, but when I go to kbin.earth I can see the user has over 3000.

I'm definitely not a federation expert, so there may be a good reason for this. I wanted to point it out in case it was part of a larger issue.

  • Building a discard-themed deck in Disney Lorcana can disrupt opponents and boost gameplay with synergistic cards.
  • Cards like Daisy Duck, Belle, and Sign The Scroll aid in making opponents discard, benefiting your strategy.
  • Characters like Kuzco, Shere Khan, Kronk, and Prince John offer unique abilities to enhance your discard-focused deck.

One error I noticed:

Plus, with Ward, he can’t be challenged, so he’ll keep his amazing effect going strong.

Ward means he can't be targeted, but he can still be challenged.

  • Shiftable characters in Lorcana help you get strong characters for cheaper costs, paving the way for power players.
  • Characters like Baymax and Clarabelle offer unique abilities that enhance gameplay and deck strategy.
  • Mulan, Robin Hood, Tinker Bell, and Sisu bring unique strengths and abilities to the field for diverse tactics.
