I saw a post about this less than an hour after it happened.

Infrastructure decay in the US has been something to be concerned about for awhile, but when I first saw it my first reaction was from a new kind of horror that will only get worse:

My first thought was that it was AI. The post I saw was written in a way that felt like AI bros excited about their new toy, what it could do, trying to bring the horrors it creates to relevancy by creating a fake news story.

And after all that, it actually is a real tragedy where real people died.

This plus drama about contrapoints and philosophy tube have filled my Twitter feed with the seemingly ever increasing presence of chuds, who seem to be of a new breed lately on social media, much more aggressive towards all leftists on there then I remember.

Anyway, it's hell world

Is that a cane?

Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Nepal: I'm very disappointed in you.

There is a lethal amount of boomer radiating off this display

Make Siberia more livable by building a shit ton of dams in the mountains, creating a vast amount of lakes. I don't know if this will actually do anything. But maybe a lake effect will change the Siberian Highs that causes massive cold weather patterns to hold in the area and it's surroundings? Was an idea to maybe make Vladivostok and the Russian Far East more like Seattle weather wise. More rain, more movement of air generally, lots of fresh water stocked up, maybe routed to central Asia. Idk what would actually happen but it'd be fun to see

That's nazo good

So to be clear I'm 100% pro Thälman and this is in good faith, but libs will throw out the slogan apparently used by the KPD at this time "after Hitler, our turn!" Which I'm assuming was because they weren't about to ally with the party that killed and surpessed them, and not believing the nazis were going to seize power as they did, but anyone have more and better insight on that moment?

I love the eastern bloc decision of just parading everything. Better than someone affecting Steve Jobs in some rizzless warehouse. We need more parades

Of course this is at Disney World. I love that she's prepared with oils like a fucking Witcher, though I'm guessing there's more nuance to what a witcher uses in different occasions. Also concerned that smelly oils are getting in those cuts. Great work all around
