Happy Birthday! I want to address this:

Today is my birthday and I’m going through my usual sadness phase about turning a year older. Feelings of being a failure are creeping in as I wish I would have achieved more by now, going into later 30s. I need to work harder at changing up the things I don’t like, because some (most) days, I feel like I’ve just given up.

SOMETIMES surviving is enough. Some times keeping your head above water is good enough. If you really feel this way (and its not some sort of negative perception or comparing how you think your life SHOULD be) then tomorrow pick a project, start small and tackle it. tomorrow aint promised, so if there is something you want to do get started.

last distro I deployed was Mint and I was super impressed till I did an update that stuffed the distro. Panicked each time it tried to boot. Windows may shit me, but I know how to fix it.

clearly not us, cause we've done it half a dozen times before and almost certainly will do it another dozen times.

if this f'ing laptop goes to sleep on more time I'm installing Mint and you can hold me to that. Only thing I can see in is maybe a "hibernate after 180 minutes" cause its sure as shit not set to sleep otherwise.

Hell, 11 has been installing an update for the past 20 minutes and its only at 4%. I may just install linux anyway.

Its so nice giving up on keeping up to date with this shit. You should give it a go! I miss the daily show, but beyond that there is really no upside in being involved in foreign politics unless your playing the stock market or investing.

I'm back. Spent Friday in hospital with some pretty sketch vitals but they gave me an IV and I appear to be alive again. Viral meningitis is the leading theory, we couldn't actually diagnose it and given I'm no longer looking like the reapers next target no one is all that stressed any more.

a stocked app store woulda helped. I worked with a guy who had a phone 8 and we had to order him ubers to go see clients cause they didnt have the app.

Microsoft should have paid whatever the f it cost to get some key apps! Cant believe the squandered the lead in that and the xbox 360 so poorly.
