mrs spent the last night coughing so much she puked, so I evacuated to the guest bed again. Spending so much time there it might be time to get it a better mattress.
Best bit of advice I got was slip into a persona. Its not you presenting. Its Fullkitwanker's "Professional image" presenting. I find it far easier to put on another hat and be someone else than i find it to convince me to do stuff. And you can ABSOLUTLY tell when I've failed to slip into the persona and tried to present anyway.

split system? yeah they use bugger all so long as you turn it on before it heats up outside. Very good at maintaining temperature, but far less power efficient to cool it down from hot.
Got a full day of meeting and i'm still expected to have a bunch of extra work done. One of the meetings later on is why I havnt done a certain aspect of work. I'm going to laugh and say "what would you like me to have dropped to get that done?"
And Gladys stood around setting fires rather than help.
this week is sucking the will to live out of me. I dont know why, but it is just exhausting. Felt like we faced 2 Mondays in a row.
got back from camping on the weekend and had an amazing time. I've gotta say guys, tidal river is just the best. Its camping lite. You have hot showers, you can go grab a coffee and a bacon and egg roll in the morning, there is Drinkable water. If you have never been camping you should consider giving it a go. Heck, reach out to me and I can recommend all the gear you need for under 100 bucks. the amount of folks rocking a Kmart tent was pretty nuts. And you'll come back feeling so recharged you'll wonder why you didnt do it sooner.
