PSA: I've lost some photos. Partly my fault, partly computers dying. Anyway right now I had 3 or 4 repositories or backups, most duplicated, but I only discovered recently that at some point something corrupted and I lost some priceless photos. Spent 3 weeks digging through old storage to find a backup and luckily, I found a VERY old SD card that contains them. Its a miracle that it survived this long. I nearly cried tears of joy. Anyway, if you don't have a good backup solution? Go make one. Right bloody now!

I'm also open to suggestions for management/organization of photos. Right now im across iCloud for recent stuff, Dropbox for last gen stuff, and then google drive for older than that stuff. And its just chaos!

“wow it’s like talking to a teenager”

completely unacceptable. Go to HR and your manager on it. Claim to be offended (Because they wont give a shit otherwise). You're owed an apology and they need to learn they cant do it any more.

“When in custody in Cairns, young people are visited by organizations and government agencies to ensure their welfare needs are met,” the statement said.

I mean, sure. We dont want 'em to die. But I'm tipping the people of Cairns who've suffered home invasions or cars stolen or had knives pulled on them probs don't care if they are not getting the 5 star treatment. You get fed, you can go to the bathroom and you get limited exercise: That should be absolutely it. Dont like it? Maybe dont break the fucking law over and over again.

Sadly no. Just stubble. The kid pulls on the beard too hard.

Oh no! Hope you had insurance! Time to look at some security systems or something, clearly some bad stuff going on in your neighbourhood.

Oh she comes if you call her name and say treats, But you get no points for giving her treats because she just thinks she’s entitled to them.

I’m excited to announce that my wife’s cat and I have reached a tentative mateship after 4 years. She’s never “hated” me, but she’s always made it pretty clear where I stand with her and that Mrs B is her preferred human. But somethings started to soften, she likes my kid so I think she’s decided I’m alright based on that. She’s even started coming to find me for pats.
The bitch of it all? She’s not even my wife’s cat! I’m the one who said “we can’t leave her here! No ones even looking at her! We have to bring her home.” But nope, Mrs b got all the credit and love.

Cats: man’s okayest friend.
