took me 4 hours to get home last night. 4 friggin hours. I know its not metro's fault, but why the F are we not better prepared in our response? I waiting in a 300m line at Caulfield only for people to keep jumping the queues while the metro staff and PSOs are mostly on their friggin phones!
Big arse batteries are good. Smaller neighborhood sized batteries to make independent but connected micro grids is better.
heads up trains are FUCKED for all but like 3 lines.
Fricken worried about the fire risks today. Im an hour from home (assuming the trains work). Mrs is 20/30 minutes drive. Were in the suburbs so we should be totally fine, but it is close to Gippsland too.
It was a bloody warm breeze at 6am as well.
You might remember I joked yesterday about having to hide the AC remote from the wife? Yeah she went to bed with a heat pack last night.
chuck it outside for halfa
I'm sure she was faking it.
Started researching camper trailers more seriously as a way to stop myself spending too much money on upgrades for "right now". Thinking more future stuff. Having a lot of fun researching options.
The mrs is very quick to ditch the AC, rather than chuck a hoodie or trackies, even if Im still sitting sweating on the couch. She's part flame monster I am certain of it.
Mine wont. She turns the AC off even if its still 34 outside because she gets cold. Cold whilst sitting in a pair of shirts and a singlet mind you.
you did well to not drop a polite "Excuse me, I'm so sorry, but there a lot of us waiting". I feel for them, I do, but reach out and join a social club if you need a chat!
