is it uncomfortable? heck yes. But well worth doing at least once in your life. Doesnt have to be IN the car. One a summers night "On the car" or doors open, boot, car adjacent. Its all good and all very doable.
Now Winter on the other hand, THAT becomes a struggle.
Oh sick discovered a camper my car can actually tow! Got a turbo diesel with nearly 2 tonnes of towing capacity, but if I stand on the towball thats almost too much weight for it. Not exactly the best design in the world.

unfortunately not that simple. Its the actual weight at the towball itself that's my limiting factor. A little baby camper trailer will almost always be under a tonn. And there isnt a great way to measure tow ball limit annoyingly.
