Coming from Android, iPhone is great – but its keyboard is shockingly bad. in c/apple@hardware.watch

Your fat fingers and lack of dexterity aren't Apple's fault. I've been using iPhones since the very first and I can't say I've ever had any trouble with the keyboard.
