When content is low quality, posted to the wrong community (usually intentionally), trolls. Basically anything that I feel shouldn't exist. The content that I believe takes value from people's lives instead of adding it. If I find content that I dislike but believe adds value to other people, well that's what the block/ban features are for.

Right now, until next month's mortgage payment comes due. Every time I get something in the emergency fund either an emergency happens or a maintenance that will be an emergency if ignored. Just ordered a new set of car tires about an hour ago, as it happens.
Depends on the source and the weight of the claim. My fattest friend tells me the new Italian place slaps? Fact. The smartest person I know tells me there's a newly discovered planet? Worth looking into if it comes from them, but I'm skeptical.
This term definitely isn't deprecated or insulting? Most colleges in my state have an NAACP branch. They have career fairs and all sorts of events under the name. This may be regional though. I suppose anything can be considered an insult if you say it in a certain way.
Shame this is Lemmy high quality memes and not Lemmy shitpost, quality shitpost.
Getting this specific ad one too many times is actually what finally motivated my lazy ass to switch from sync to eternity
When I graduated college my (country, but well spoken) parents wrote me a card in the most backwoods hick spelling and grammar they could come up with. Fun memory.
I'm actually a bama boy myself! White sauce is great on wings, not so much on a sandwich. I'll check out that columbia gold.
He is clear on it, he just doesn't want to admit it
Calling people who are trying to protect children pure evil is unhelpful rhetoric. Disagreeing with their opinion is helpful. Sharing an anecdote against their proposals is helpful. Personal attacks are unhelpful and do more harm than good for the conversation. I will admit that they set the stage in bad faith by calling their stance 'inarguable'.
Especially Raads-R, the statistical accuracy is insane. Meaning it has an unusually low rate of false positives, so a high score is a fairly reliable indicator. Especially considering it's a self report.
