They hooked a raspberry pi up to the network switch. At this point i think they fucked up security pretty bad

Id argue it hard to set up, we not hard just lots of interconnecting pieces, but once you are going it's very easy to maintain. I just set up an email server from scratch in a about a day.

In general yes, however much like sheep no. I'm sure that some beaver colonies in the south west set up after escaping from fenced areas, that led to the governments relaxation on them.

Most of my info comes from leave curious on youtube

Yes but just like the online safety act, it will be too broad and not specific enough, and it will get applied in places it wasn't intended

On the flip side quiet village pub gets taken over by new owner, installs outdoor speakers, becomes a sports bar, blasts music out every Thursday Friday and Saturday until midnight or later. Doesn't have air-conditioning so doors get left open making noise worse. Council won't do shit because of budget cuts

It's easy to nationalise

Step 1, be the government

Step 2, create a new bill or whatever

Step 3, walk in to the water companies

Step 4, fuck the shareholders and give them nothing

So if you have been around long enough you might remember the Hitachi (IBM) deathstars https://wizardprang.wordpress.com/2013/10/14/the-last-deathstar/

I see Hitachi and think no fucking way, where as Seagate I used to see as an always yes. Now I just stick the disks in a zfs array and call it done

What I'm really waiting for is large capacity ssds with sata.
