I'm more concerned about a badly degrading environment that can't support our numbers. A rapidly declining population is a net good.

What population we should stabilize at is a bigger question. How many people with how much consumption, distributed how unevenly?

My take on the entire thing as a Canadian - not worth sending a negotiating team. Not worth responding to. Not worth doing business with.

They don't honour the deals they sign. They are not held to account by congress or any functional court or rule of law or international trade body. They don't act rationally or in their self interest.

The US can now be defined as a rogue state and an irrational actor. The best move Canada can make is away from the US entirely.

Firefighting foam used at airports. Every airport, every military base with an airstrip practices routinely with PFAS. They are still doing it.

It is everywhere. Water, soil, rain and you.
