True, true. :(

What you say is both true, and completely irrelevant and misleading. The Simpsons' heydays were during Fox's meteoric rise to pre-eminence and at the time Fox News not only supplied Fox with their newsroom coverage they were owned by the same parent at the time. Being owned by Disney now is immaterial to my previous comment.
From wikipedia
Fox went on to become the most successful attempt at a fourth television network; it was also the highest-rated free-to-air network in the 18–49 demographic from 2004 to 2012 and 2020 to 2021 and was the most-watched American television network in total viewership during the 2007–08 season.[3][4] It is a member of the North American Broadcasters Association and the National Association of Broadcasters. Fox does not have network newscasts of its own due to its lack of a news division, and instead relies on the 24-hour Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network to supply news programming to the network.
And regarding Fox News

The Fox News Channel (FNC), commonly known as Fox News, is an American multinational conservative news and political commentary television channel and website based in New York City, U.S.[3][4] It is owned by Fox News Media, which itself is owned by Fox Corporation.[5] It is the most-watched cable news network in the U.S.,[6][7] and as of 2023 it generates approximately 70% of its parent company's pre-tax profit.
Bell, Telus and Rogers should merge. Then we nationalize them as the public entity they always should have been.
The "market" runs on hype and vibes, not facts and results. It's a hustle of magnificent proportions.
Gratuitous /s.
It's basically a badge of honour at this point. Can I have sanctions too?
Well, he doesn't have to worry about his gambling debts anymore. A firing squad for treason fixes that problem.
We're way past "legal" mattering anymore.
I hope we supply the EU some of our quality armaments, while receiving theirs in equal measure.

All jokes about Doug Ford's expertise in paying outrageous fees for cancelling contracts, this was the right move. The mistake was to pay a fee at all. Starlink, as witnessed in Ukraine, and Musks political shenanigans is an unreliable state-adjacent company, that is taking illegal and hostile actions against Canada under false pretext. Breach of contract, force majeur take your pick. We owe them nothing.
It still won't improve then, though it may get less bad, less quickly. Our climate change crisis is effectively permanent and cumulative.
Edit: with a roughly 20 year delay between emissions and warming. (Before tipping points)
