People are pointing out the juxtaposition of many people losing their jobs while one person spends silly amounts of money on toys. It’s not that he spent it on toys, it’s that he made so much that he was able to waste it on frivolity while others around him suffered.

I agree to an extent. It would be beneficial if they could book any AVAILABLE seats together for free. This practice should be standard for everyone.

2012 is one of my favourite movies. I don’t care what this author thinks, I love that movie. It’s fun, over the top, and enjoyable. I’m not watching it for some science-accurate portrayal of the end of the world. I’m watching it for the entertaining destruction, and this movie hits it.
I’m doubtful we’ll see the Chiss, but I share your enthusiasm. I’m excited.
What about holiday specials? Surprise episodes? Feature length movies? They know about them, don’t they?
It is. It’s just a bunch of stuck up wealth hoarders and way too much traffic.
This is gross. This happens everywhere in the US, and you can’t find anywhere to walk along the water. The best you can do is find the one plot of land that’s public and walk around in the tiny park there. Public access to the waterfront is one of the many things that make Vancouver great, and it should be accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy.
Voodoo introduced zombies, but the modern zombie has diverged significantly from that concept, making them quite distinct from each other. A movie character pointing at a zombie and saying “it’s like one of those voodoo zombie things” doesn’t make much sense because the concepts are pretty different now. Additionally, more people associate Romero zombies with the word “zombie” rather than the voodoo zombie.
At least the river is real…
