the empire is a machine of blood, destruction, and death. The libs may be too naive to recognize it, but leftists cannot afford such luxury

hm, honestly it might not be a bad idea for Iran to just wait and let the zionists sit in fear waiting for the other shoe to drop. They've taken a bunch of disruptive measures like GPS jamming their own major cities, effectively neutering civilian travel especially air and sea. Surely they won't be able to do that long term and then they can hit them hard when they eventually let their guard down again. And if they really do want to use an iranian attack to justify a rafah invasion, well they are delaying such an invasion by waiting as well, which is going to piss off the IDF and hardliners.

Of course Iran has domestic pressure to retaliate soon as well, so waiting too long may just make them look weak. Still, the fear they are cultivating in the enemy is something they could take advantage of.

“But in the name of oversimplified market efficiency, a large non-market economy had been integrated into the international economic order in a way that posed considerable challenges.”

My servant of capital you integrated them. You pushed them to join the WTO 24 years ago. You called it a triumphal moment. You assumed China was "destined" to open up their market to imperial exploitation (again) when they did so. But China knew your game the whole time and beat you at it deng-cowboy

Funny how as soon as "free trade" means America loses profitablity they immediately rip it up. This is a fundamental repudiation of liberal orthodoxy and history

who would have thought handing over your internal security apparatus to the most psycho fascist guy would be such a risk?

Definitely, they had to do something. I'd even call this a relatively tame response.

Interviewer: "Yes, I watched your epic almost five hour debate you had with Benny Morris and Mouin Rabbani, and..."

Norman: "...and something else"

are they fucking nuts?

[–] TheLastHero@hexbear.net 4 points 1 year ago

wrong. a cast vote for candidate 3 is not a lost vote for candidate B. Furthermore variable b decreasing doesn't increase the total of variable t so no you can't "rewrite" it like that with magic math. This is how it works, it's actually very simple:

candidate T gets t votes

candidate B gets b votes

candidate X gets x votes

hey, let's not forget the gonads on Aaron Bushnell

Thanks, I tried to effortpost a response for them. People like them who just call for a "simple" two state solution rarely understand what that entails. They would see a fully sovereign Palestine as terrifying.
