I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason why we haven't done this yet. Too expensive? Would launching it into the sun cause the smoke (if there is even smoke in space) to find its way back to Earth, therefore polluting the air?

This is an incredibly stupid question.

They planned to get some dinner and have some beer after a hard day's work but needed to wash their very dirty hands first. So they went back into the bathroom and washed their hands. Well apparently that was too "gay" for the owner of the bar and they went over to the bathroom and started saying things like "I don't know what you think you're doing in there" and "I just need to make sure you're not doing anything funny".

Fellas, is it gay to practice basic personal hygiene?

It's just the vibe you gave off in the comments.

I understand your concern about copyright laws and the ethics of copy-pasting a paywalled article, but this was not the right way to react. By removing comments containing the article, you created a Streisand effect, where attempts to censor information only end up making people more aware of said information. If you had just ignored the comment with the full article and acted like it was no big deal, people wouldn't have felt the need to troll you about copyright, and perhaps they might have actually discussed the topic in the article, as more people would have been able to read it.

But please don't let this fiasco discourage you from making typography posts on Lemmy. We need more communities and engagement here. It seems you're very passionate about this subject, and it would be a shame to see you leave. I'm sorry about the trolls from Hexbear, but again this wasn't the right way to respond to this.

Hopefully we can forgive and forget.

And that's why the phrase "May you live in interesting times" is a curse.

I agree on this. Some things should just be left to the audience's imagination.

Mind you, Warner Bros. announced Joker: Foile à Deux around the same time they publicly canceled the Batgirl movie. This was the reason David Zaslav gave for canceling the film:

"We're not going to launch your movie until it’s ready. We're not going to launch a movie to make a quota. And we're not going to put a movie out unless we believe in it."

"Website League"? I like the sound of that. Like some sort of super team...

Personally I would never pay for a PVOD release. It's best to use that money to buy the Blu-ray, at least then you actually get to keep it.

It's not, really. What makes it "premium" is the fact that you can watch it at home while it's still in theaters.
