The US is a failed state. We're going to have to learn to live without it sooner or later. The only reason it has so much influence is because we all made it the centre of the global economy. That's what needs to change.

I'll see what I can do! 😉

Awww, and I was sure that this was going to be the year my paycheck finally did more than keep me alive until the next one...

We've all seen the before and after pics of Gaza. We've all seen the videos of Israel's war crimes against Palestinian people. Are you going to tell us Hamas is lying about that too? You seem to be an expert on the truth of what's happening over there.

Depressing is right. I consider the US a failed state now.

Well I guess he's got all that spare time now that he's fixed all the problems everywhere. And he is known for having exquisite taste in art and interior design.

(Kinda depressing that I need the /s here, but I'd hate for some magat to come along and agree with me...)

I imagine a lot of them feel very threatened, for themselves and their families. There's not a lot of evidence that if maga decided to just start locking up anyone who causes them inconvenience, there would be any authority coming to your aid. It's survival at this point for them.

He won't get rid of musk as easily as he did bannon. He's already into pretty much everything. trump is chained to musk now, and so is the entire country.

The land of the free is fast becoming a human rights wasteland. I'm still reeling from the sheer number of people who seemingly had no idea it was going to be exactly like this.

I'm really hoping this will be the wake up call America needed to get its shit together, because if they don't, the oligarchs aren't going to stop there. They're coming for everything eventually.

Wonder how president musk feels about that. 🤔

It's like they created a monster and set it loose thinking they could control it, but turns out they can't, because it's a monster. Nobody could have seen that coming...

Yep. We're deep into the game of monopoly now. Someone's put hotels on those expensive properties and now it's just a matter of time until they have all the money or we just decide we don't want to play anymore. They're the only possible outcomes.
