Having done some more research, it looks like you'd also have to do all the federation (and related content caching), which I view as undesirable here.

Well, now I kinda want to hook up an rpi to a solar panel and battery.
It's a system that gets out of the way of the storytelling, so the development is on the story.
That said, you can gain a few more Traits over time, which does increase your power.
I like TD2e for basically everything. They do have related systems/sets of Traits for different campaign types.
I loved Cruella, but yeah, I wouldn't consider that a prequel.
I use it. I tried to get some freeleech items to help with ratio, but, by the time I downloaded them (for any that worked), I would not be getting much seeding credit. And the items that didn't work, I'd sometimes have to zap because they wouldn't download anything so they didn't count as me making them available.
I still have it up, but I don't really know why.
What's your network infrastructure like? I have my network segregated across several VLANs, and IoT devices are on VLANs that are blocked from the internet (and the rest of the network) at the firewall level. I can access them, but they can't access anything.
