Management at Blizzard changing the game direction every other day, acting like headless chickens.

  • Maybe our few remaining players would like to play an RTS game within OW

  • Ok boss, reassigning all devs to this work

< Two months later >

  • It appears our RTS mode for Overwatch didn't resonate with our competitive FPS playerbase

That's too bad, maybe they want a flight simulator mode ? Or a fishing sim like mode, that would definitely resonate with players

What a bunch of idiots without any common sense. Leadership positions for the worst people.

Also as DDG is based in the US it is most likely legally bound to give your informations to any agency with a nice gag order on top of it.

I can't imagine any serious privacy oriented business to be headquartered in the US.

The whole better privacy is true with DDG but certainly not to the extent people would like to think.

That being said DDG has decent search results and is slightly better than Google for privacy. Google is an ecosystem so every little bit you don't give them is a success.

It's really too bad we don't have good private search engines..

We don't have many big fast food chains here in France.

But MacDo seem to be indeed the only one trying to be decent.

The staff is still very much underpaid/overworked but at least they try to reduce their waste and improve the quality of the food.

Still a soulless corporation but it seems they are actually doing things pretty well.

By remotely I don't think they meant a long RJ45 cable connected to nothing.

So this doesn't look like a setup that can be fully secure.

Could even be completely fake and just to dissuade China from invading.

I suppose there is a security system to prevent just presenting a pic to the cam. But I agree that we shouldn't trust it.

In any case, biometrics are bad to authenticate people. What's the point of a key you can't replace/change...

Who would ever contest this claim ?!

On the other hand I heard so many times the same argument for 144hz, 165hz and then 240hz....

Now 1000Hz is much higher frequency but in term of frame time it's not that far. I wouldn't be surprised if some people could successfully tell the difference in a "blind" test.

I call it the depression portal.

That was indeed the joke.

Not enough Guinness I guess :)

Imagine what the Guinness people are thinking about this...
