Honest question, is this image really supposed to this small?
It's only 250x169 on my end, and I can't find a way to enlarge it. Been happening to me a lot on Kbin, I can't tell if I'm missing something, if people really are posting tiny images, or if it's a bug of some kind?

I worry about the seemingly inevitable Le Pen presidency even more. I don't feel safe at all in this country anymore.
Doing my best to move to Canada but I really don't have the money.
Even then, Canada might be in a better spot atm, but even there the fascist parties are gaining in influence; nowhere is safe.

And those workarounds do work, they just make participating kind of a chore, when I have to keep refreshing all the Kbin tabs I have open.
The error page I get sent to just says "Error" but the tab's name is "Log in", personally. That's why I assume it's some kind of log in issue.
Yeah I need to look into that, I just use Firefox's on desktop, but I don't have it on mobile; I'm assuming there's a way to link them together. It just hadn't really been an issue until now.
Yeah that does happen too, in fact it didn't work the first time when I tried posting this very thread.
I used to browse some unstable forums back in the day so I've made a habit of copying any long comment I make, just in case, but that's definitely annoying too.
I'm not giving up on Kbin either of course, but this one bug is definitely making it a challenge, and it's been a thing since I got here.
That does (usually) work yeah, but for example if I'm simply scrolling down I can't do that, since refreshing will bring me all the way back up and change what posts are even displayed.
You can acknowledge that he was racist and still appreciate his work/reference him.
Separating the art from the artist doesn't make you complicit in their shitty opinions; there's still a lot to get out of Lovecraft's stories, he's one of the core pillars of modern horror after all, his influence is inescapable. You could argue it's a different story when it comes to living artists/celebrities, since you are in some way contributing to their success, but Lovecraft is long dead, his work is literally so old it's public domain lol, you're good.
I've personally been reading many of his stories lately for inspiration, and it's been very enriching. You have to keep an eye on the racist overtones of some of them, but as long as you do I don't see the issue.
