Voyager works with Lemmy 0.19. You can use it until Sync is updated.

When I turned it on it was mostly showing posts with around 2-7 upvotes. This seems like a bug to me because most posts have more upvotes than that.

BTW I found that the new Scaled ranking only shows posts with about 5 upvotes. Not sure why it is not finding more popular posts.

Honestly, the more I think about the changes and experiment with them the more I like them. It's so much easier to do fine-grained reactivity now.
