Uncut gems, it's also pretty out there and symbological rather than literally happening yo Beau (although, who's to say I guess - the stuff he's seeing and feeling is true to him and us as the audience)

I loved Beau is Afraid! I have no idea who I could recommend it to but I went with a friend and watched a 3 hour anxiety movie together.

I also really liked Barbie, skipped Openheimer though. It was some good dumb fun. I bought it, rewatched it a couple times too.

And that was pretty much it for me for theatres this year, oh well.

Apparently open mouth thumbnails aren't popular with gen z, it's closed mouth smiles or smirks or whatever now

Israel offense force (vs Israeli defence forces)

Most of the good continental philosophy is from east of the Rhine anyway

I did my mermaid hair length that could cover my boobs, liked it, then chopped it to just over shoulder length. I'm glad I did one of the standard issue trans femme things of having long hair, it was super fun and affirming but I'm also glad to go back a lil shorter and just have bangs.

The obsidian ones were good too, especially Finn and Jake in the underworld.

Probably really pulpy Planetary Romance, like pre 60s sci fi (like 1900s to 1920s) would have stuff like steaming jungles under Venus cloud cover. Or Martians hanging out on Mars. You might like The Ship That Sailed to Mars but that's more magic than tech, unfortunately.

There's a dnd setting called Spacejammer that's got a lot of what you mentioned - except again far more supernatural rather than being based on some speculative science or tech.

I saw this video with Sophie from Mars ages ago and I literally gasped when she came on stream, she's so beautiful!! I've never done something like that, I was so embarrassed about it I literally shut it down - even though I was alone and no one else, like, knew. One of vids got recommended to me recently so that's why I'm reminded of that
