Here's the lemmy.world banner, it's a strange aspect ratio, but it fits. It's about 16:6 aspect ratio 800x300.

I used a LORA and textual inversion, here's all the info for generating the image (it's kind of weird, I put random words in sometimes just to see what happens):

The giant army robot is amazing looking. The filter, aspect ratio, lighting, and style make me feel like it could have been real. The dancing automaton oil painting is beautiful.

Here's my submission, I just typed "dieselpunk", "dieselpunk city", and "dieselpunk plane" into DALL-E2 image creator.

~~Also testing to see if imgur albums will fully display in a single embed~~ (imgur album doesn't show up embed in comment, have to do 1 image at a time)

General simple idea:

We have a 2 day vote on a theme for the week (Sat-Sun), top upvoted idea comment gets selected (has to follow community rules, no NSFW themes etc.)

Once voted the challenge goes from Mon-Fri.

Throughout the week we vote all (upvote/downvote) submissions in the comments of the pinned challenge post.

The top 3 winners get featured as a pinned post for span of the next challenge, and then the process repeats. The top 3 previous winners get cycled out for the next top 3 winners next week.

Any suggestions on the process please feel free to comment!

EDIT: It seems as though this idea has positive support, if there are no objections then I will begin the process in ~12 hours at (1PM EDT 7/8/2023), any suggestions will be taken into account moving forward!
