That's a good argument but not the one the OP is making. The other thing is that there is still a ceiling on how many total people will rent a place monthly at a certain price, and there is a bigger customer pool when the price is lowered.

This is part of a weird trend of everyone on every political side weaponizing the language of the oppressed. Whether it is saying asking Biden to drop out means not listening to black voters, or saying other gay people hating conservatives means gays can be intolerant and close minded, all the language used to advocate for progress is being used to advance regression.
