Side side to side

As someone who works as a software engineer for a smaller company without any of that noise, that sounds like complete hell. I have no clue how devs are getting anything useful done while having to context switch constantly during the day for asinine meetings and corporate progress tracking bullshit.

PTP and BTN are good for movies and TV. BHD and BLU can fill in the gaps. I don’t think it’s worth it to pirate music or software.

Personally I’m very excited for GM, Ford, and Rivian to adopt the NACS charging standard. Tesla’s charging adapter is miles ahead of J1772/CCS, from both and engineering and end-user standpoint. It also requires less materials and redundant pins in the connector, which simplifies the design and makes it more efficient materials-wise.

Still, most if not all of that subscription fee is just going back to Reddit in API calls. Not interested in supporting them at all, whether through a first or third party app.

Those are the best projects. There’s no bugs, all unit tests passed, no tickets to look at. Pure bliss.

Your battery life will appreciate it as well

I would love this. I prefer Kbin on the desktop, but it’s pretty rough to use on mobile. Mlem is AMAZING so far and if I could stick with one account (because I’m currently split between my Kbin account on desktop and lemmy on iOS) that would be even sweeter.

This is my exact setup as well. I ran Windows on my laptop for years but Windows modern sleep absolutely ruined it for me. Placing my fully charged laptop in my bag on sleep and pulling it out completely dead 8 hours later is asinine. macOS knows how to sleep properly.
