There is quite literally nothing China could do, even in your wildest fantasies about how nefarious they are, to affect your life in any way using TikTok algorithm data

You're simply just engaging in McCarthyist paranoia

We finished the civil rights movement in the first stage

Wow, it only took until 60 years ago (living fucking memory for large swathes of the US) to finally acknowledge black people were human, congrats America

he still lives modestly, unlike other rich YouTubers

I'm fairly sure that by definition he can't live modestly. Like he has so much money that I sincerely don't think he can even comprehend living modestly

If he owns a house and a car he's already living richer than most folks I know. I doubt he does groceries at whatever cheap store is in town, he goes to the luxury one but thinks he's modest when he only buys what's on sale

And even if he isn't spending obscene money on supercars and toys, that just means he's hoarding money. I legitimately cannot believe he even knows what living modestly is like

The British Challenger 2 has long been recognized as one of the best-protected main battle tanks globally

Strange claim to make considering the Challenger 2 has never actually faced combat against a modern army with modern antitank weapons

I mean aside from itself anyway

Because a Challenger 2 was lost in combat to another Challenger 2 when it was hit by a HESH round and killed the crew inside, and that was in 2003

But nah it's perfectly invincible, I'm sure a modern Russian APFSDS will just bounce right off that immortal Chobham armour that can't even stand up to its own gun

Especially because I'm fairly sure fasting can be suspended in times of crisis, like y'know

A genocidal famine

It's undeniable that there is a burden placed on a partner in a relationship where one party has a chronic condition

However

It is beyond inexcusable to air that shit out in public on one of the largest media platforms in the United States. If she wanted to write it on a small personal blog, or anonymously post about it on Twitter or something, I get it - we all gotta vent sometimes - but to write an article for NPR about how bad she feels because her husband has a chronic condition is peak ghoulishness. You think the husband wanted anything to do with this? You think he wanted to be called out publicly as being a paranoid overreactor (her implication, not mine)? Fuck no

This is why I bought a Bluetooth dongle called a Fiio BTR5

The dongle itself is the wireless Bluetooth bit. You just shove whatever wired headphones you want into it

Also, as a rule, shop owners always think they lose business from bike lanes. Incredibly frustrating.

It's because carbrains complain loudly

Nobody who walks in or bikes in to a shop will announce how they arrived. A carbrain will come in and loudly complain about lack of parking, however, and then the shop owner has it in their head that parking = good

I know chips are the classic and kinda misunderstood example but fuck, I grabbed a bag of chips - not even a name brand, just a store brand - and the fucking thing cost me six bucks (CAD) and barely felt a quarter full

it was more like a day care with networking opportunities

And surprise surprise, this complete unknown comes out of nowhere and gets a highly successful "left wing" YouTube channel going, where he advocates for some leftist ideals but nothing particularly radical

Wonder how that happened

Typically when things get to the point where people are donating individual civilian vehicles to the army, that means the army is doing really well and on the verge of winning right?

(he just got back!)

War's still on. What's he doing back home? Unless maybe it isn't about seeing the job through and instead just about aesthetics
