OK, you are the new mod.

And take a huge risk of not winning the General Election.

They cause a lot of light pollution of the night sky, and when they burn up they pollute the atmosphere.

It is a surprise and concerning to me. It is so wasteful and polluting. I can’t be the only one who feels like this?

Who is he criticising? It better not be Putin - look what happened to Prigozhin.

Not just the consequences of killing someone, but in the moment, do you think you could actually do it? If your answer if yes, then I hope never to meet you.

Yeah, I never know what age a grade equates to. “4th grade” - is that age 4? Seems a bit young. So, if you start school about age 4, then that would be 1st grade I guess, so 4 + 4th grade would be age 8. Is that right?

I also loved this book when I first read it as a teenager many years ago, along with the Foundation series: another great Asimov book that springs to mind is The God Themselves, which is quite unlike anything else he wrote, but fascinating too.

Unfortunately when I reread Foundation many years later, it did not stand up to my memory. One of the downsides of getting older, if not wiser.

Sadly, I think you overestimate the general interest there would be in such an announcement. Also, it is not as though we will be getting images of little green aliens, any evidence will be far more circumstantial, tentative and over many years. It will be hard to sustain any public excitement for that long.

Did teenagers even exist when it was written?

Not just grandpa. How much of what we remember of 9/11 is accurate? How can we be sure? Is anyone fact checking our memories?
