even it if is right much more often than it is wrong.
a framework that is right more often than not sounds pretty useful to me. Imagine if a gambler had such a framework to work with

he was actually a bloodthirsty ghoul and son of a CIA director who put on a fake folksy accent in order to win over dumb football chuds and then proceeded to plunge america into an incredibly profitable war. And then liberal bozos pretended he was just this dumb folksy yokel being manipulated by darth cheney and not born for this shit.
it's not cheating when the system actively encourages and rewards this behavior by design, which is why it has to go. You're not going to "deter" an 87 year old ghoul on his death bed with a slap on the wrist. he already won.
Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. American support for Israeli atrocities has been bipartisan foreign policy for decades. Both Biden and Trump are rabid on this issue. The only difference is that democrats will pretend it's the Likud party or honestly just Netanyahu's fault and not the actual inherent nature of a settler colonial regime. Republicans don't bother with such formalities. They are more honest about their bloodthirst. (I wonder why? Could it be that looking at Israel is like looking in the mirror for Amerikkkans?)
i still can't fathom how neoliberal is now like a self-identified label and not a pejorative on the level of calling someone a cockroach
Quote:
We called the forum r/neoliberal. We didn’t name our forum that to make a political statement from the outset, but because we wanted to poke fun at people who had previously called us that word. But quickly, people began joining at a far greater rate than we ever expected. They weren’t joining to discuss econometrics, as we originally intended. People were joining because they desired a place to discuss policymaking online that wasn’t captured by left or right-wing populists. We were radical incrementalists – as we called ourselves – and it was different from anything else out there. We knew we were onto something, and created the Neoliberal Project to launch new initiatives and house them all under one banner.
PPI has been around since 1989 and views itself as Bill Clinton's "idea mill" aka think tank. Why I call them a fossil fuel think tank is detailed here. They oppose climate action, defend fracking, and receive donations from Exxon Mobil.
it's safe to say that their upvotes are farmed, and their organic support is mostly bourgeois economics and political science majors and interns who hope to work for PPI or a similar think tank one day. It's basically a Neera Tanden farm.
The creator of r/neoliberal, Colin Mortimer, is the Director of the Center for New Liberalism at PPI, which seeks to "develop a salient identity around the center-left values that have increasingly come under fire in this age of populism."

Reminder that [r/neoliberal was created by and is astroturfed by a fossil fuel think tank called the Progressive Policy Institute, as part of their "Neoliberal Project"](https://archive.is/dNo5d#selection-533.230-533.424)

planting scare crows with green headbands in the middle of large crowds and then screaming "hamas!" as I turn the place into a new parking lot for my future offshore gas facility
More tellingly, of the 30 member states in NATO before 2022, only 6 held democratic referendums before joining. And of those 6, most held democratic referendums during high budget information campaigns urging everyone that it was absolutely necessary to join NATO. NATO was always about maintaining American hegemony over Europe after WW2, because the alternative was Europe going socialist... not because of "Soviet Imperialism" but because of popular support for socialism. Notice how popular support for socialism is always framed as "imperialism" emanating from the largest socialist country, but unpopular enforcement of capitalism is never framed as "imperialism" emanating from the largest capitalist country. Odd.
I haven't forgotten Gaza, you geezer
this human thumbnail could hit the off switch tomorrow, buy his own epstein island, and be left the fuck alone until climate change claims us all, but no, he has to whine about how hard it is to have massive piles of cash thrown at him in exchange for essentially being a game show host, truly he will be the zoomer generation's donald trump, "donaldson" indeed.
Malcolm X regarded Fidel Castro as the only white person he ever liked
Sort of. The earliest version of the DSM used the term sociopathy but I think subsequent versions starting in the 60s referred to it as antisocial personality disorder and noted that it had also been referred to as sociopathy or psychopathy.
