I don't think he's up for it, to be honest. If he was he'd have made an Android app by now.

u/spez will be gone soon. Remember his name: Steve Huffman.
Also remember that he used to moderate r/jailbait.
His name is Steve Huffman, and he's a former mod of r/jailbait and as such a paedophile.
Duuuuuude they didn't wait long did they? And they attack r/adviceanimals, one of the core subs, even though it isn't one of the defaults anymore.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Huffman brings back r/jailbait. The fucking dirty paedo.
No, they want to steal data you create and profit from it, while offering nothing but spite in return.
If you make the data, the data belongs to you. That data has value, in spite of what Silicon Valley tech companies tell everyone. If it didn't have value, then these companies wouldn't be amongst the wealthiest businesses in the world.
What happens to your account on a federated server if that one fails though?
Relay was my go to app also, something about the flow of the app UI always appealed to me more than any other apps. So much so, I continued using it even after I found the paid app included trackers (these can be blocked with Warden, a rare app scanner you can find on github).
However even if I wanted to stay on reddit I don't think I'd pay a monthly subscription.
Reddit really should be paying users, not the other way around. They steal our data for free and seek to profit from it.
If you ordered the PC version direct from CDPR then you'll get the expansions for free.
Edit: Maybe not, it's listed as a separate item on the GOG store page... CDPR might just be dropping their standards even more.
Of course a delay would have helped, but they tried to rope in Hollywood and Keanu Reeves - which came with Hollywood contracts. They had to release in order to pay the actors, otherwise they would have been bankrupt from the penalty clauses.
I'd say it's better to buy direct from CDPR, on GOG. You typically get more benefits that way.
I don't think Asobo controls the decision here, but rather Microsoft. The same company that looked at free services provided by Google and Facebook and said "Hey, we can do data collection too!". Now, Microsoft is the main company that makes you pay for them to steal your personal data so they can fatten their profits.
u/spez is Steve Huffman (if you even genuinely believe he's been running the account these days).
The u/spez account will likely die along with his position. Meanwhile, Steve Huffman will get a golden parachute and laugh all the way to the bank.
Do not forget his name is Steve Huffman. Also, do not forget that he used to be a mod of r/jailbait and is almost certainly a paedophile.
