Ah nice, didn't realise there was a UK feddit. Should have tried!

Proof.
The thing is with all your connections being remote you'll never see any edits.
Edit: here's proof.
Meanwhile I kick the blanket off one or both feet and varying portions of my leg to cool myself off. Heatsink ftw!
That's evil I love it.
If you're so sure why didn't the CEO mention any of these death threats?
I don't think that's fair in this case. That's definitely a valid train of thought in the face or receiving online death threats - almost all of these could be assumed to be fake, but it only takes one real one - but here Steve Huffman isn't referring to any specific threats to reddit staff and is instead just shit stirring.
If you read his posts, he's clearly stated he isn't up for a massive project anymore. Making an Android app would be such a project, and I believe the same is true of adapting Apollo to lemmy - it won't be the simple port many people are hoping it would be.
Let Lemmy grow. Growth and low effort pun threads is not what killed reddit. Corporate interference and shit stirring controversy spewing algorithms in the name of "user engagement" is what drove reddit down the drain.
Eyup duck.
Be the change you want to see!
