It still needs to go to the supreme court.

Fine the officers in cases of gross negligence.
Nah I don't think that's it, rather the app data is tied to that specific phone via a number Google assigns to it. So, if you go to a new phone, or even factory reset your phone, you cannot restore data - even using root and apps that would backup the app data folder. Like I say, it used to work, it hasn't for years.
What we need is a more reliable ability to restore data to apps, particularly across phones. This used to be possible with 3rd party apps, but they borked it a long time ago.
Few weeks old this news (7 Dec) but still very good! Particularly:
On Tuesday, Lamborghini reached an agreement with its unions to roll out a shorter week for its production workers without slashing pay
Shows the value of unions.
Absolutely mental. Criminal gangs in bed with Australian government.
It's not a loss though. They're buying a property, they get to keep the property at the end of it - and further the property will almost certainly increase in value.
Why should the tenant pay more than it costs to own a property, if they don't get to own anything?
If a landlord doesn't like the opportunity because it isn't profitable enough, they could always sell the property - creating more opportunity for renters to buy their own homes. Right now, with no rent control, the system is pure exploitation.
I dunno, I was just kind of disappointed that this kind of crap is still going on. Like, I was hoping for something more interesting, in a way, rather than the same old pathetic trolling.
In my experience prices don't vary that much across cities, you'd have to move far away to actually get a cheaper rent. Doing that means finding a new job and all sorts of other difficulties.
In any case, the tenancy simple isn't worth the rent that's charged. If owning the property you live in is worth some amount, then renting it should be worth less.
The question ultimately whether the President is an "officer of the US". Seeing as the President holds an office, I think they should be, but who knows what the current crop in the Supreme Court might twist things to.
