That's very true, however I don't believe Gaza had sufficient water supplies even before then.
The whole issue is a mess, with so many bad actors on both sides.

They keep them reliant on water from Israel by preventing them from building new infrastructure. At no point has Gaza had a sufficient water supply.
Kudos for the mathematical perspective.
You should probably take it with a pinch of salt, it's been forever since I've actually done statistics :o) I just remember the 6 sigma certainty thing when I used to study Biochemistry, I may well have applied it wrong here hah.
Harvesting won't help from now on, with such a small population, but it likely wasn't a factor in reducing the population from 6 billion.
I think it's more impactful if you write the numbers out fully, 6,000,000,000 down to 200,000. That's 0.00003% of the population remaining
Edit: Statistically, you could say something is 100% certain if there are 6 standard deviations, or 99.9999998%. This is more than 5 standard deviations; more than 99.99994% of the population has been eradicated. I think it's all but certain that snow crabs will end up on the endangered species list.
Fortunately upvotes and downvotes on Lemmy don't mean much.
It's disengenuous. People complain about Gaza not having enough of its own water or electricity infrastructure and relying on Israel, but up until now Israel has required Gaza to get their permission on any new construction. So Israel have been holding Gaza hostage via water and now they're cutting them off and making excuses for it.
Where sound goes to die.
A third co-defendant, bail bondsman Scott Hall, struck a plea deal with prosecutors in late September.
Was this also a guilty plea or what?
Edit: Yep.
This was a gas station, so they require motorcyclists to take helmets off. Post-covid you could probably argue for wearing a mask, though if you were wearing a balaclava I think they might ask you to lower it. The law doesn't much matter here as they're a private business and can dictate terms of service.
Absolutely, I won't take the IDF's account, I want confirmation. However before you commented with your video /u/stankmut@lemmy.world claimed that there were photos showing that the building in your video is the adjacent building. Presumably there are two halls that use the church wall that was collapsed. I've not disputed that the air strike damaged the church and caused unnecessary civillian casualties. I'm disputing that the church was targeted.
Furthermore, your video appears to show a part of the church, still standing.
The IDF lie through their asses, but that doesn't mean everything they say is a lie. I'm after the objective truth, which requires considering all accounts and not dismissing them out of hand just because of the source. The best lies have elements of truth, after all.
The church is still standing. However, a wall was knocked down, and that was what caused the casualties.
It's still fucked up and Israel is to blame, but it doesn't appear to be a targeted attack on a church, like many are claiming. The target was the building next door.
I'm sure the SEC will be very interested to hear this, particularly as reddit staff are likely involved.
PAHAHH I can't even keep a straight face while typing that.
