The first line of the article gives the very fact that undermines its entire premise: Charlie Brooker makes Black Mirror, not Netflix. Furthermore, Netflix does not generate electricity, it consumes it, so it can't really be held responsible for the make up of the grids it runs from. The bad accounting of energy supplies is also not their doing, but is indeed annoyingly common - and indeed, the article is doing it to try and make its point.

Friendly reminder that Flint, Michigan still doesn't have safe drinking water. After 9 years.

Lmao you're reminding me of this random friend I made on Clash of Clans because of my username, he was a meth head and thought he'd found a kindred spirit. My name originates from a software package from Windows 95, Tweak Tools 95, and a pick to make a 90s hacker name.

Or sent to prison for collaborating, like that scientist who worked on commercial hypersonic airplanes.

Regardless of how many holes, I'm sure they will still be round, and we'll still be trying to put square-shaped astronauts through them.

It should be noted in both cases, it wasn't the leader who demanded a change, but the subordinate who did it to save face on their behalf.

I guess noses can be the same shade of brown, regardless of nationality.

"At first it was called Ehfir," Putin said. "And at one of my public speeches I was talking and said it was Sfera. I arrived at the Kremlin, and the former Roscosmos head greeted me and said, 'Vladimirovich, you said it was project Sfera, Sfera you said. That's what it is, project Sfera.'"

Rogozin, who was listening to these remarks, acted immediately—presumably to save his boss from embarrassment. After Rogozin said the constellation was named Sphere, Putin recalled that he asked how's that? Rogozin replied that it had already been renamed Sfera and not to worry.

Laughing, Putin added, "So I didn't even make it back and it's already renamed to Sfera. So I said, well, OK then."

That's almost cute.

Yeah, range in general is terrible with anything electric - and the UK isn't even that big. New battery tech can't come quickly enough.

You're presenting generalised speculation as if what you're saying is certain. It would be nice if you could provide something that would back up your claim, like a similar case with a one-time buyer that proceeded to trial.

A reasonable person would not necessarily know the goods were stolen, even if they had knowledge of the industry. All the buyer would likely need to say is something like "the seller convinced me that this was an early release for select reviewers", and the only way to counter that would be for the prosecution to provide actual evidence proving their knowledge of the theft. "Legitimate channels" is not confined to retail.

Lol sorry if I was a little harsh. But you didn't link to any of the blog posts that you referred to, and the post you commented on isn't a blog.
