It's like talking with someone who thinks the Earth is flat. There isn't anything to discuss. They're objectively wrong.

Humans like to anthropomorphize everything. It's why you can see a face on a car's front grille. LLMs are ultra advanced pattern matching algorithms. They do not think or reason or have any kind of opinion or sentience, yet they are being utilized as if they do. Let's see how it works out for the world, I guess.

I saw a comic reposted on Lemmy about 2 worms and the presumably female worm asks her partner "Would you still love me if I was a big booty Latina?".

Apparently that comic itself is a commentary on another recent trend of women on Tiktok asking their partners if they would still love them if they were a worm.

So, a few layers there. Not entirely sure if related, or just confirmation bias, but seeing the phrase "Big Booty Latinas" here on Lemmy twice in as many days seems more than coincidental. 🤔

This is what I don't get, the UI looks so dated and messy to me. Everything looks like it came out of the 90s and never evolved.

My wife recently noticed a new sign by our building's pool saying that you are not allowed in if you have diarrhea or have had diarrhea in the last 14 days. 🤔🥴

The point is they are not literal in any sense. Most of these questions can be interpreted at least 2 or more ways. I can't even wrap my head around what question 1 even wants. It's like word salad if you really read it carefully and literally.

Can anyone explain #1 to me? What are you supposed to circle? It says "the number or the letter". There's 1 number and the entire sentence is literally letters...

It's like when the waiter asks "Soup or salad?" and you say "Yes".

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've also read their supermarkets have a dedicated "taco" aisle! Apparently it's a big thing to have a make-your-own taco night, but American Taco Bell style rather than traditional Mexican.

Same. My wife is not from here, but wanted to see the Till movie that came out a few years back. It's still on our list and we still haven't seen it because she knows how depressing it will be

When I was in school we read Animal Farm, but instead of 1984 they had us read Brave New World. It seemed like a more accurate commentary at the time. Just everyone blissfully unaware and high on "soma" and trivial entertainment. Bread and circuses as it were. Crazy to see what a sudden turn to 1984 we've taken in just a few months.

The comments are hilarious, and I'm a fan of his shows as much as the next person, but I hate this type of "news". A post when it drops is one thing, but a post to say it's coming in 3 days is just doing their marketing. Unless it's "your" marketing? 🤔

You'd be surprised how many minorities voted against their interests as well. I have religious family who supported this. "Latinas for Trump" was also a thing. The stupidity of the human race is really something.

Those lines are generally painted with some sort of template, the short ends should at least line up in perspective, but some of them look like they would be parallelograms or trapezoids viewed from above rather than rectangular stripes.

Additionally, the two big white squares by his legs don't seem to make sense. Like an AI algo has seen big white shapes by legs near intersections, and added them there. But those should correspond to another crosswalk closer to camera and they are just floating there.

Then, the thin white stripe by his leg is implying a crosswalk that is lined like a pathway, i.e. two stripes in line with the sidewalk that you walk between. However the full crosswalk we see is lined like "steps" that you walk across like the Beatles album cover. In general you would expect a city to have these consistent at the same intersection.

Not making a judgement here, but those do strike me as odd and in line with mindless AI image creation
