Well gestures are objectively faster and you must be stupid to think otherwise since in my Xiaomi I can switch between 2 apps by dragging the gesture from the phone's edge to the center of the screen (I accept and respect the fact that this feature may be limited to Xiaomi phones but regardless is a huge advantage compared to 3 button navigation
