Wait, it’s the 167th episode of CCGG morning?! How did I miss the other 166?!

(Bonus Coyote investigating on the matter)

(tl;dw it seems like it’s just 3 MV collabs between myth and JP members lol)

So it’s an announcement stream for… 3 MVs? Seems a bit too much lol

Anyway, will definitely give them a listen sooner or later, the pairings seem very fitting.

Seems like it was a success this time as well, nice.

So they’re planning to “expand” to other sports too? I’m kinda torn, on one side I’ve seen sport fans be very toxic and dismissive of other people’s hobbies, on the other they do have the same culture of “cheering for your idol” and taking your passion as a lifestyle, between merch, apparel and whatnot. But I guess they made enough research on it to see that pros outweigh the cons if they’re planning to do that. Hopefully it all turns out well for both fanbases!

A few prominent holo-tweeters heard some dodgers-only fans blame hololive for the loss this round.

(Padme and Anakin meme template)

As a joke, right?

…as a joke, right…?

their COO has begun to push a narrative on 4chan (yes im serious lmfao) and other social media that i am leaving because i plan to join OTK and that both me and silvervale are troublemakers, so they were "letting" us go. later i found out that nyanners wanted to leave around the same time due to also being unhappy with the contract, but was told that she couldn't because it did not fit their narrative that they were pushing internally AND externally.

Holy shit what the fuck

Good. I don't really care for him being in jail, but they gotta strip them of everything they have to repay what's possible.

So he actually "owned up" to it, in a sense. That's little (if any) consolation, but still.

Reading the replies is a whole rollercoaster. There's a lot of talents venting, Kson being very concise but asking exactly the questions that need to be asked (I love that woman), and Henya's tweet is just heartbreaking.

Glad that we can somehow get a closure on this, and hopefully every talent can move on to a happy career/life.

(On a side note... isn't witholding money meant for a charity and not paying your employees for months kind of a criminal offense? I appreciate the communication but he's not gonna get off scot free just by apologizing, right...?)

Are the "receipts" the screenshots? Because it's still nothing that couldn't have been fabricated. And even if they were legitimate, I just find it so weird to me that she could sue him for all those sexual crimes PLUS online harassment and defamation and she... just hasn't. If the harassment has gotten to this point don't think there's any other reason not to do that except A) your claims aren't true or B) your claims are true but you know his ones are too.

And the most damning thing about the charity is that, to my knowledge, she never addressed it ever since. If the charity wasn't trustworthy, just say it. If it turned out to be way too much money, just say it. Not saying anything just means you wanted to look good without actually following through.

I don't think she deserves all the hate that she's getting, but I can understand why people would be turned off by her.

[–] Syrc@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Yeah, I realized watching the initial video lol “that’s a long name, why is she always saying it fully and not abbr- …oh right”

Gunrun appearing from the shadows: “S-see? They got even more money! T-that was my plan from the very beginning!”

Dang, no Korone? I assumed her and Botan were the most invested in SF6. Although I guess her already having a Sega partnership probably limits her viability for other companies’ promotions.

Flight reservations to Japan from some of its key tourism markets have reportedly plummeted, with some linking the fall to The Future I Saw, a Japanese graphic novel based on the “prophetic” dreams of its author, Ryo Tatsuki.

The cover of the original, published in 1999, refers to a “great disaster” occurring in March 2011 – the date Japan experienced a deadly earthquake and tsunami. In a new edition containing additional material that was published in 2021, Tatsuki said the next major disaster would occur on 5 July 2025. Her claim has fuelled sensationalist social media posts warning people to stay away from Japan.

(Though technically, since it’s gonna be prerecorded, yesterday’s zatsu was her actual last stream)

Announcement Stream for whoever missed the other post

〈HoloLive member: Shirakami Fubuki〉

This time, four of us, including Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame, and Otsuki Maki, sang "We Go!" from "SPECIAL EDITED VERSION ONE PIECE Fishman Island Arc"! I still can't believe that we, the Hololive members, can hear our singing voices from the "ONE PIECE" anime. I feel very honored to have been given this opportunity, and I am proud to have been involved in a work that I love.

〈HoloLive member: Takanashi Kiara〉

Kikkeriki! I'm Takanashi Kiara from Hololive English -Myth-. I'd like to comment on behalf of my friends Hakos Baelz and Kobo Kanaeru! It's a dream come true to be able to participate in such a wonderful project. This is a great milestone for us as it is the first time that the three of us have sung for an anime. We are so honored to be singing with the legendary Hiroshi Kitadani for our Hololive English/HoloLive Indonesia version! I hope that everyone will enjoy our version of "We Go!" among the many versions out there! The recording was so much fun and I can't wait to hear everyone's reactions.

〈Hiroshi Kitadani〉

This is the first time we've recorded this song that we've been singing in various places and situations for 14 years! And it's a collaboration with everyone at Hololive! While there are parts that are arranged in a pop style, there are also parts that are energetic and powerful and have a strong nuance, so please enjoy the new "We Go!" with stronger nuances!

〈Maki Otsuki〉

This time, we had the opportunity to collaborate with everyone at Hololive for the first time with "We Go!" I was also very happy that it was arranged by Mine Kushita, who I haven't seen in a while! From the cute singing voice, Nun! Otsuki will appear like the final boss, so please look forward to it~ (laughs)

I'm honored to be able to work with Otsuki Maki and all the Hololive members! This time, we've packed in a lot of different instruments and sounds as a special version of the great song "We Go!" from "ONE PIECE". I hope you'll listen to the full version!

I teamed up with tepe to create a dramatic arrangement full of adventure. The cute singing voices of the Hololive members and Kitadani's overwhelming vocals combine to create a world view that will instantly draw you in. The sound is sprinkled with exciting gimmicks that you can discover every time you listen, so please enjoy it to the fullest.

It's really like a dream to be involved with "ONE PIECE", which can be said to be the bible of my life. This time, I teamed up with TeddyLoid to update the song without forgetting to respect the original song. It's packed with a lot of sounds unique to "ONE PIECE", so be sure to check them out. People's dreams never end!!!

You’ll always find yourself Bargaining.
